like sweet things?

Do you find yourself craving sweets after your meals? There are a lot of different reasons we have cravings and when you aren’t armed with the tools to deal with them or the right healthy snack—you end up grabbing that piece grape saladof chocolate from someones desk at work or the left over cupcakes in the break room.

Well, instead of waiting until after your meal to have something sweet, start incorporating more sweet things into your meal. When you have more flavors in one meal at once it is less likely that you will crave something afterwards.

For example, in this salad I added grapes to give a hint of sweetness as well as dressed it with some balsamic vinegar.

Other ideas for sweet foods/fruits to add to your salads, stir fry’s and more:

  • Raisins
  • Cranberries
  • Grapes
  • Oranges
  • Strawberries
  • Apples
  • Salad dressings w/ fruit juice

Also, when you do this you get more servings of fruit in your day—and I am guessing many of you are barely getting one serving of fruit a day….yes, maybe?

Add some sweetness to those meals and cut out the bad sweets after!
